Thanks Mark - I've only just got around to listening, and I didn't want the two of you to stop chatting!

Regarding Adam's comment about Monty. It's not a case of one or the other, some of us love both of them!

Thank you Mark. You are possibly the only person who could make me click on a football video, on recommendation. x

I’m from Burnley and was mocked for being born there and *not* having a broad enough accent, which I put down to my mum being posh Cheltenham and having a dad from Exeter who had to adopt a neutral accent because no-one ‘oop north’ in Manchester could decipher his strong Devon tones. Anyway, just over fifteen years in Ireland and I’m still northern sounding.

What a lovely interview with Adam Frost. I was already a big fan of his watching him on GW but I’ll definitely go and look for his book. Thanks Mark!

I just spent the loveliest hour listening to a chat between two lovely humans about all manner of things. Very much looking forward to the next one. Thank you Mark.

An excellent listen Mark - Thanks to you both.

Playlist is interesting too - all the right artists - but unexpected choices of song... Just like the philosophy of how to garden and all the gardening books; subjective and nuanced.

It seems to me i's just missing Elvis Costello; "(I don't want to go to) Chelsea" 💚

I'm TERRIBLE for picking up accents. I can't help it. Doesn't take much for my inner Midlander to come out ( I still say grass rather than grarse) but after a few days in W Yorks I've gone all 'hiya'.
