If you have been here for a while, you may remember I wrote about a book idea I thought would be fun - and hopefully useful - to follow from lightbulb moment all the way to (hopefully) publication day. It was part of what I’m offering paid subscribers, and together we’ve developed the ideal into a proposal, looked at the planning, the logistics, sending the proposal to my agent, to publishers, and more.
The reason I’ve not got into the doing of that book (which will happen later in the year, some visible for paid subscribers only and some for everyone) is that’ve been working on another book. It’s published next Spring. It’s half written; the third of four two-day photoshoots is happening in a couple of weeks, and I’ll be posting about planning and undertaking a book photoshoot, for paid subscribers, in a few weeks.
I’ll be revealing more about next Spring’s in the months ahead, but until then - because it’s a little early for it to be widely known about, and because there have to be some benefits to being a paid subscriber - I’m going to talk more about it below.
If you aren’t already paid subscriber, I hope you might be tempted to join us on the other side of the wall, to be part of a community experiencing and discussing the process of writing, following an actual book, and how you might go about writing a book. And more besides.
You’ll be supporting independent writing and actually helping to make it happen. there are other reasons you might find it appealing (eg 25% off plants and seeds from my online nursery if you are in the UK) - more about why you might want to sign up here.
I’d be hugely appreciative if you fancied joining the us on the other side.
