That terrible day. My father came running in to tell me; both of us were both news and paper junkies. Dad had all the Beatles albums and a lot of their solo work. They lived under his bed alongside the Brazilian porno mags.
I've been wondering lately where my red and blue vinyls went. I'd got them off my mum and carried them from flat share to my own houses. But now somewhere in the midst of storing possessions for years and shipping stuff across the globe they're lost. But, have you heard the quality of the remixed and I think bigger red and blue albums? Amazing stuff.

I hope 'Brazilian' refers to their country of origin...
Definitely lots of seventies-style bushes going on (sorry tmi)
A great story beautifully presented told. I liked your use of incidental details
Happy Christmas to you. W.
Thank you Wendy, that’s very lovely of you
Transported. A masterful piece of storytelling, Mark, every detail. Thank you for this moment back.
thank you very much

I haven't heard them but now you have me inquisitive and vinyl inquisitiveness means one thing and it's not good for my bank balance
It's the digital release that I think is wider. 38 songs on the red album. Though possibly it was always that long.
I think the original stopped at the end of the second disc - the third looks like additional for the rerelease
Lovely, lovely post. And now I know what to get you for Christmas 🍋 xx
Thank you Lucy B. Are you getting me an apartment in the Dakota building? xx
