Brilliant playlist, Mark.

Have you heard Karl Blau's version of "Fallin' Rain"?

I find it very beautiful and calming.

So very tempted by the peach, but no room for a greenhouse in our little London garden… would it survive outside over winter?

Mark Diacono's avatar

Hi Natalie, it will survive perfectly well - and if you can offer it a little shelter from spring rains which can bring leaf curl by moving it against the house etc it will be even happier

That coleslaw sound’s scrumptious Mark. I believe dwarf peach might be on the cards too.

Thank you for the lovely compendium Mark. I will play your playlist later. You must have been tickled pink that Nigel Slater enjoyed your elderflower dressing and shared it in Observer column.

What a wonderful discovery this newsletter was this morning! I loved every bit of it but perhaps most of all that rhubarb recipe. The queen of my springtime heart!

Rhubarb? This query about the dressing is not assisted by the fact that when I was a kid, saying 'rhubarb' was the equivalent of saying 'rubbish'.

Mark Diacono's avatar

same around here: rhubarb = rubbish. Make of that what you will

But is the dressing FOR rhubarb????
