Hi Natalie, it will survive perfectly well - and if you can offer it a little shelter from spring rains which can bring leaf curl by moving it against the house etc it will be even happier
Thank you for the lovely compendium Mark. I will play your playlist later. You must have been tickled pink that Nigel Slater enjoyed your elderflower dressing and shared it in Observer column.
So glad you wrote about the food forest on Scribehound - one wonders what goes through the heads of trustees of such an important estate - the upwelling of support has been phenomenal so I hope they are listening
What a wonderful discovery this newsletter was this morning! I loved every bit of it but perhaps most of all that rhubarb recipe. The queen of my springtime heart!
Love everything AND have just ordered Ice Peach.
I am delighted! Thank you thank you
Brilliant playlist, Mark.
Have you heard Karl Blau's version of "Fallin' Rain"?
I find it very beautiful and calming.
Thank you Orla, I haven’t heard it but I shall listen later…Very kind of you
So very tempted by the peach, but no room for a greenhouse in our little London garden… would it survive outside over winter?

That coleslaw sound’s scrumptious Mark. I believe dwarf peach might be on the cards too.

Hello and welcome fellow rhubarb-lover! Great to have you here
Mark!!! I was just admiring your playlist and listening to a snippet of the sainted Etta - then saw my own name.
How incredibly kind you are. THANK YOU. So lovely to have you back x
Thank YOU for when your own name lands in my inbox...such a joy of a read every time x
Rhubarb? This query about the dressing is not assisted by the fact that when I was a kid, saying 'rhubarb' was the equivalent of saying 'rubbish'.
same around here: rhubarb = rubbish. Make of that what you will
But is the dressing FOR rhubarb????
It's for the recipe above which has rhubarb in it
Ah - being dim! thanks.
