I love this recipe, it’s so delicious and I’ve pointed so many people in your direction and this recipe when I’ve been asked what else can you do with medlars. Such a good recipe, thank you

I can attest that this is indeed a fabulous pudding🙂. We swapped a bag of something or other for a bag of medlars with you some years ago and I made this recipe. Been meaning to plant a medlar tree ever since but still haven't got around to it - maybe this winter!

Hello Lee - glad you enjoyed the pudding. You have to plant that tree this winter! They are self fertile so you only need find room for one - plenty enough fruit for the pudding in a couple of years time

We've had a me3dlar tree in the garden for many years and husband loved the jelly. I've made jam with the fruit mixed with redcurrants, that's good too. His vintage jelly is now eight years old so something new to try is good, thank you.

Thank you Mary, I hope you enjoy it. Medlar jelly is so good but it’s good to have a few recipes for everything

Forever grateful for both this recipe and your gracious sharing of it each year. Currently waiting slightly impatiently for my medlars to belt.
