This is a coal tit is going to be very important in March, singing as she does from the tree overlooking my office, outside, while I work away inside.
March is an especially busy time this year - the final edits on Abundance, a new project about to launch (of which more soon) and the slow fermenting of an idea for what to write next - all of which leaves me stretched. Stretched I’m ok with, but you are here for my best work, so I am pausing payments for anyone who is a paid subscriber for a few weeks. If you have paid for an annual subscription, it will be extended by the time we are paused1.
I’m not saying I won’t post, I’m just giving myself latitude not to post rather than force ideas to come in limited time: and if I do post before the end of the month, it will be free to read.
So see you in a little while, and don’t forget, if you have any ambitions to write a book, come to the gathering I’m hosting in a few weeks about writing a book proposal (more info here) that will help enormously.
More soon,
Mark
PS A few of you have very kindly messaged to ask if I’m ok: I am, thank you. I’m just lucky enough to be overloaded with unavoidably clashing commitments for a short time, doing something I love.
It also means free subscribers can’t upgrade to being paid, but I’ll be back by the end of the month and if you are keen to upgrade to attend the gathering in the 27th let me know and we’ll find a way.
Take your time Mark, it’s all good and I’m sure we are all happy to wait. Great things take time. X
I’m embarrassed to say that I hadn’t heard of a coal tit before Merlin told me that they’re EVERYWHERE in my garden. I know! Don’t judge me. But I’m loving that they’re so prolific that they’re popping up in your post too. Tell me it’s because Mother Nature is giving us a second chance and bringing the birds back? Please?
